Halloween

Halloween

Last week we made the Jack o´lanterns (very scary). It´s an activity that children love!.These are the steps to follow:
1.Prepare what you need: a pumpkin, a sharp knife and a spoon

2 Draw the eyes, nose and mouth

3 Cut the top of the pumpkin and cut the holes for the eyes, nose and mouth

4 take out the middle with a spoon ( or the hands)
and save the seeds.

5 Put a candle inside the Jack´o lantern and listen to a Halloween story

CHANT: "TWO LITTLE WITCHES".

Two little witches with black hats.
This is Wanda, this is Pat
Bye! bye! Wanda,
bye! bye! Pat
Hello,Wanda
hello Pat!

Some information abourt Halloween

About two thousand years ago Halloween was a celebration that caused fear. Said that it was the closeness between life and death. People disguised ghosts and witches to go unnoticed among the malignant spirits. Today Halloween is a holiday of fun and joy to the most small.

Some of the traditions were:

-Turnip lanterns put out of their homes.
-Ordering food from house to house.

-Dressing up as witches and ghosts.
-When you see a black cat walk seven steps backwards .

-When you see a bat kill him because is a vampire.
-Burning an animal in a bonfire.

There is a fight about to know if Halloween is a Christian party or not.
